Thanks to Mands, I have the new scissor sister's album. And I listened to it *all* day. I have a love in my heart for Jake Shears, because I feel like I really "get" him and what he does. Sighs.

I also watched La Dolce Vita and now am planning to embark on a Netflix induced Fellini fest. If anyone wants to laboriously discuss the movie with me over coffee in a dark jazz house while we wear our side-cocked berets...I'm in.

ed, not really germane to your post, sorry...

picked up some great vinyl classical the other day, fischer dieskau's winterreisen (winter is on the way after all) and a 2 record baritone piano recital with poulenc himself on piano and pierre bernac as baritone. the recordings are from 1950 but are super clear. have you heard any of them i wonder? it's all french songs: poulenc, ravel, chabrier, debussy and satie. there was a 2nd copy for 2 bucks or i could rip it for you.

I love historical recordings. If you burn me one, we can count it as my B-day present. Ooo! Burn. Love.

ill-spirited former go-go boy turned pop fashionista hate-crime? You see how ambiguous that was. Love.

Name the time and place slut. Lahve.
